The CEO of JC Penney Ron Johnson sat with CBS “This Morning” to defend his company’s new spokesperson Ellen DeGeneres from attacks by the religious group One Million Moms that seeks to boycott the retailer if it did not axe DeGeneres over her sexual orientation. Slowly, but surely, Apple's plans to build a retail store in the Swiss city of Basel are beginning to shape up. As reported by ifoAppleStore, the site for the store was first spotted by Swiss bloggers almost two years ago. The bloggers at MacPrime.ch have now dug up blueprints confirming that Apple's architect has been busy revising plans to meet with city regulations.

Best Buy reports lower than expected December sales

Best Buy on Friday reported weaker than expected revenue for the five weeks ended December 31st, 2011.
