In a setback for Apple, the International Trade Commission ruled on Tuesday that Apple infringes on one of Motorola's patents. The patent describes a "method and system for generating a complex pseudonoise sequence for processing a code division multiple access signal." ITC Judge Richard Pender also said Apple did not violate three other patents Motorola included in its original complaint

According to a Computerworld report , Apple and Chinese company Proview are in talks to resolve their dispute over the iPad trademark in China. The case is being heard in the Higher People's Court of Guangdong Province. Before it hands down a ruling, the court recommended the two companies meet first and try to hammer out an agreement.
