Apple Posts New iPhone TV Ad ‘Music Every Day’

Apple started running a new iPhone ad this evening called ‘ Music Every Day ‘, the second in a series that launched last month with a spot entitled ‘ Photos Every Day ‘. Both ads in the campaign focus on people actually using the phone, rather than just the phone itself. Every day, more people enjoy their music on the iPhone than any other phone In a series of colorful clips, the iPhone is used by owners to listen to music at school, in the shower, at the gym, at a club, at a swim meet and more.

Apple’s Smart Watch May Not Launch Until Late 2014, Use Biometrics and iPod Nano Technology

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has on a number of occasions offered accurate information about Apple’s product plans, issued a new research report this week outlining his expectations for Apple’s rumored smart watch device, informally dubbed “iWatch”. Despite some expectations that the device could launch later this year, Kuo believes that both hardware and software issues will result in the iWatch making its debut in the second half of 2014. Apple may not have adequate resources to develop an iWatch version of iOS because it may require big changes to iPhone and iPad iOS this year.

CW Strikes Deal with Apple to Bring Content to Apple TV

In his interview with Politico earlier today, Apple CEO Tim Cook shared some additional details about the new Mac model that will be manufactured in the United States when it is announced later this year. Cook said that not only will the machine be assembled in the U.S., many of the components will be sourced from suppliers in the country as well. And Cook is also promoting a $100 million investment in domestic manufacturing, where the company will begin producing a new version of a current Mac product later this year.
