Open Question: Tried and true, cheap, healthy winter dinner recipes?

Posted On Monday, December 19, 2011 By admin. Under Yahoo! Answers  Tags: Australia, cooking, france, italy, new zealand, quebec, recipes, relationships, united-kingdom
My hubby is very picky, likes meat in every dinner dish, and has GERD(so no peppers, or cabbage.) Also, he refused to view a cold salad as a dinner item, same goes for soups that aren't hearty like chili or stew. I think it's a mid-west thing.
