Wired reports that Apple has ordered its support staff to temporarily stop processing AppleID password changes over the phone. The move is a response to the experience of Wired reporter Mat Honan who had his iCloud account hacked which resulted in the remote-wipe of his iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air. An Apple worker with knowledge of the situation, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Wired that the over-the-phone password freeze would last at least 24 hours.

Most of my friends dont have apple related products so can I Imessge them with there texts? Like lets say they had at&t or Verizon can I still Imessage them like a regular text? It doesnt even have to be Imessage just something like a app or someting! I have a Ipod touch by the way!

My sister, mother and myself all share the same Apple ID as well as iCloud accounts. Recently we started to run out of space with iCloud so since I was the one using it the most I decided to just get my own Apple ID and therefore getting my own iCloud account.
